Service & Maintenance

Service
Includes ALL parts and labour charges required to provide all the items included within the Factory specified Volkswagen Service Schedules. This briefly includes:

• Oil changes at the required mileage
• Fuel and oil filter replacement at the required mileage

Maintenance
Should the vehicle need parts, or fair wear and tear items replacing during the contract, or identified at the vehicles service these are also INCLUDED.

Maintenance also covers virtually any other unexpected repairs (with the exception of damage caused by abuse, theft, accident, corrosion, vandalism or neglect and tyres unless a tyre contract is added on to the agreement)

This is one of the most comprehensive covers and example inclusions are:
• Cam belts
• Air conditioning service
• Drive belts
• Replacement brake pads, lining materials and all components.
• Clutch materials and assembles.
• Major and minor engine and transmission units.
• All driveshaft, boots and CV joints.
• Alternators and starter motors.
• Electronics and electrics.
• Windscreen wipers.
• Exhaust systems.
• Batteries.


Tyres

Tyres will be replaced when worn due to fair wear and tear. The replacement will be replaced of the same size tyres as originally specified on a standard vehicle although not necessarily the same make.

Main Exclusions for Tyres are

Misuse, abuse, vandalism or negligence.
Kerbing
Accident damage
Punctures
Factory or Aftermarket upgrades
Vandalism
Theft

PLEASE NOTE: whilst punctures are excluded from contract it is our normal practice to pay for repairs if this is possible.

Taking care of your Audi

To help take care of your Audi, the manufacturer recommends that you regularly:

  • Check tyre pressures, depth of tread and condition
  • Check all lights and indicators
  • Check the engine oil levels/coolant levels and refill as necessary in between services

To maintain the validity of a fixed-cost maintenance plan your responsibilities are to:

  • Ensure that your vehicle is serviced at the recommended service intervals at a dedicated service centre
  • Ensure your car is in good repair and condition at all times 
  • Ensure the vehicle’s roadworthiness and safety is satisfactory at all times 
  • Pay any costs arising from any damage caused to, or deterioration of, the vehicle other than through fair wear and tear
  • Regularly purge the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) by driving at high revs for approximately 20 minutes.
